What actually matters here
Shoes are the single biggest category on any agent spreadsheet, and also the one where photos tell you the most. The two things worth checking before you pay: the toe box shape (budget factories round it wrong and it is obvious next to an official photo) and stitching density along the midsole seam — uneven spacing there is the tell that the rest of the shoe was rushed.
Sizing is the other half of the problem. Most listings here run on Asian sizing, which typically lands half to a full size below EU/US. Measure the insole length of a pair you already own in centimetres and compare against the listing's chart — the letter size on the box means very little in this channel.
QC checklist — what to ask for before it ships
- Toe box shape against an official photo — the fastest tell
- Stitching density along the midsole seam
- Insole length in centimetres (not the box size)
- Heel tab logo: embossed or stitched, never printed
- Box and accessories if the listing pictures them — confirm before paying
