What actually matters here
Accessories are the widest category on any spreadsheet — belts, scarves, small leather goods, phone cases — so the checks vary. The one that applies across all of them: hardware finish. Buckles, clasps and zips are where cost-cutting shows first and where a single QC close-up tells you the tier.
These are also the cheapest items to add to an existing parcel. Because shipping is billed by weight, a belt or a scarf riding along with a jacket costs very little extra — which is exactly why they are worth buying in a consolidated order rather than alone.
QC checklist — what to ask for before it ships
- Hardware finish on buckles, clasps and zips
- Edge paint on any leather item — smooth, no lumps
- Stitch spacing along one straight seam
- Logo stamp or plate font weight vs official photos
- Confirm exact dimensions — accessory listings often omit them
